Equilibrium (except not really)

Okay, okay.  So it may have been a bad idea to start equilibrium this quarter.  I just really, really wanted to be totally done before Q4 started.

Oh, well.  Forget it.  We'll just practice for the midterm next week.  Especially combining things that we have learned in our 8 units so far.

The test went well today.  Everyone made at least a B.  Good job!

On to equilibrium.

  Read Chapter 13 (I think.  The one on equilibrium).  Answer the review questions at the end.

Finishing Up Kinetics

We finished up just a few things:

1. Activation energy represents the energy necessary to form a transitional state.
2. Catalysts speed up reactions by making it easier for transitional states to form.

There is an exam next time.
