Midterm Review

We went over commonly missed problems on the midterm and reviewed equilibrium.

There is a test next time.

But I have been convinced to save the exam until next Wednesday (because we were missing two people in class today).

So, we will review a bit on Monday and maybe go over the midterm.

Equilibrium Again

Equilibrium is not all that hard.  We will fly through the material and the test will be either Monday or Wednesday.

Things to remember:

1. Equilibrium occurs when forward rate = reverse rate
2. Pure solids and liquids don't count.
3. Q = reaction quotient.  Same as equilibrium constant, but with initial concentrations.
